The Muhammadiya Way is an authentic Sufi Path of Islam.  Sufism or tasawwuf, as it is called in Arabic, is generally understood by scholars and Sufis to be the inner, mystical, or spiritual dimension of Islam. The Sufi surrenders to God, in love, over and over; which involves embracing with love at each moment the content of one's consciousness (one's perceptions, thoughts, and feelings, as well as one's sense of self) as gifts of God or, more precisely, as manifestations of God.

The Muhammadiya Way Begins with the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) coming through imam Ali (kv) and the four Sufi Order Shaykhs Maulana Jalaluddin RUMI(KS), Ahmad RUFAI (ks), NAKSHIBAHDI (ks) and our Murshid Pir Gavzul Azam Abdulqadir JILANI (ks) developed the Sufi Order with the name "Muhammadiya Way".

The Muhammadiya Way consists of these four Sufism Order:

Muhammadiya, Abhariya, Halidi (Naqshi) and Maulawi.

Saints (Awliya) are the guides of the path of Allah. One can not embark on a journey of the marifatullah (Closeness to Allah) without guide. Rasul of Allah, prophet Muhammad ...PBUH also went to Miraj (Ascension to haeven) with the guidance of the angel Jibril (Angel Gabriel). Angel Jibril has shown the way so that they reached the Sidratul Muntaha. Jibril PBUH said "I cannot go any further" and another angel came. That angel also showed guidance to his own station. After this, our prophet PBUH has seen Allah by his physical eyes in a timeless and spaceless manner.

Those on the path of unbelief love the people of unbelief and those on the path of belief love the believers. Divine light (Nur) passes to those follow the people of the truth. This then passes to others from them. Awliya (saints) cleans hearts by their nazar (looking and paying attention). They teach the public and make them reach the Truth.

The Murshid of the Muhammadiya Way lives in Istanbul.

[Love had cleaned the opacity and opened a way to the heart of the haevens from the human wold]

The event of Miraj(1) happened with the love of Allah.  Our beloved prophet PBUH who was the beloved and lover of Allah, has stayed as a guest in the house of Ummi Hani for a while after the death of his wife Khatijah.  This was one and a half years before the immigration to Madina.  Ummu Hani is the daughter of our prophet's uncle, her husband had also died around that time.  That year is called the year of sadness, as Abdulmuttalip who was protecting our prophet had also died that year.  It has been granted we went to Hajj. While I was sitting under the Rivaqs surrounding the Baytullah, a spiritual manifestation occured, it has been told "this place is the house of Ummu Hani".  We have understood that, the house in which our prophet had experienced the events of Isra and Miraj has been included to the area of Baytullah in time.

Whil our prophet PBUH was in this house, the angel Gabriel the trustworthy had come, and he had taken our prophet to Jarusalem by Buraq(2).  Our prophet had led a prayer with all the prophets of the past, and he had performed Miraj with angel Gabriel.  All these have happened both by bodily and by soul.  Likewise, prophet Jesus and prophet Idris have also been raised into the haeven with their bodies.  Our prophet PBUH has met those prophets during his Miraj.  Our prophet reports in a hadith:

"I have seen Idris PBUH in the 4th haeven"(3).  Those prophets are in the haeven at the moment.  (In Islamic knowledge Jesus has not been on the cross, he was taken into the haeven, and he is in haeven at the moment with his body).

The sect of Mutazila has denied that our prophet had ascended to miraj wit his body.  They take as evidence the word of Aisha RA for their beliefs:

"I swear that our prophet has not been to miraj by his body, but only with his soul."(4)

However, the mojority of scholors has objected this opinion by saying that such an event in sleep namely a dream seen would not have any merits and novelty.  Ahli Sunnah shows many evidences in this subject.  There are many verses of the Quran telling the events of Isra and Miraj.  Allah almighty commands:

" Glory to (Allah) Who did take His Servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things)."(5)

Our prophet PBUH has many hadiths on this subject.  In a hadith it is said:

"While I was in the house near Baytullah, angel Gabriel came with Buraq and I have ascended to the haeven with him."

Now,
the reality and truth is this: This mentioned event has happened bodily and when the prophet of Allah was awake.  Apart from this, our prophet PBUH has done many more miraj with his soul while sleeping.

(1) Means ascension, The event in which, one night prophet Muhammad was taking from Macca and taken to Jarusalem and from Jarusalem he was taken to the haevens and spoken to Allah.

Some philosophers called the Ishrakiyya hold the idea that wisdom can be obtained by keeping away from material things and cleaning heart, while another school of scholars called the Mashahiyya accepth the idea that wisdom can be obtained through reading, writing and thought.  However, one can only know Allah almighty in accordance with his love and he learns wisdom only in accordance with his love.
